B. Occupational Therapy
Gemma has been working as an Occupational Therapist and Case Manager in various roles within the central west of NSW. Gemma has worked in Mental Health (acute, sub – acute and rehabilitation), injury management and occupational rehabilitation (workplace assessment, rehabilitation and case management of worker’s compensation and CTP clients) , brain injury rehabilitation (including neurological rehabilitation, cognitive assessment and treatment and case management), general community health (aged care, palliative care and pre / post-operative clients), and in adult community health for clients with a wide variety of injuries, illnesses and disabilities.
Gemma has well developed links with and a thorough understanding of local community organisations in the central west for client’s and their families to be linked in with for support and / or assistance.
Gemma formed Integrity Therapy Services in 2010 and has been working with many and varied clients from children to aged care clients with a wide variety of injuries and medical conditions. Gemma has a particular interest in traumatic and acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, home modifications and driving assessment and has comprehensive training and experience in these fields of Occupational Therapy.
Gemma became a registered Driving Assessor and Driving Rehabilitation Specialist in 2012. She is also an Approved Case Manager and Building Modifications Occupational Therapist through the Lifetime Care and Support Authority. She is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and a registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
B. Health Science - Occupational Therapy
Simone has worked as an Occupational Therapist since graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2000. She has extensive experience working in rural and remote communities in both North West Queensland and Central Western NSW.
Simone has worked in various roles including paediatrics (Education, Acute Hospital, Outpatients and Community), general hospital (including acute medical and surgical, accident & emergency, rehabilitation, palliative care ,outpatients and community), private hospital (acute medical and surgical, rehabilitation, Department of Veterans Affairs Inpatient & Community) and Mental Health (acute, sub-acute, rehabilitation and community), and in consultation to Residential Aged Care Facilities with specialised skills in Dementia and managing Behavioural & Psychological Symptoms of Dementia.
Simone has formed extensive links with service providers across the Central West and has an extensive knowledge of community organisations and support services available to clients and their families.
Simone commenced working with Integrity Therapy Services in 2013 and works with clients who have a wide variety of medical conditions and injuries. Simone works with clients across the lifespan from children to aged clients, and has a particular interest in Aged Care and Dementia, Spinal Cord Injury, Home Modification and Burns.
Simone is also an Approved Case Manager through the Lifetime Care and Support Authority. She is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and a registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
B. Social Science / Social Welfare
Melanie has extensive experience working in the disability sector, in Case Management, Group Home Management and Residential Care Work since completing her Social Welfare Degree in 2001. She is highly experienced in coordinating complex care regimes and managing a variety of people in their community with challenging behaviour, dual diagnosis and high level care needs.
Melanie’s specialist areas are adults and children with any injuries or disabilities. She demonstrates and demands a high level of respect and inclusion for adults and children with disabilities and strives to ensure that their basic and more complex needs are met on a daily basis. She has been working as a Case Manager with Integrity Therapy Services since 2012 and is in the process of completing a degree in Social Work.
Melanie has grown up in the central tablelands of NSW and has worked with in this area for the majority of her career. Melanie has a strong commitment to assisting regional, rural and remote clients to gain equal opportunities for healthcare and service provision regardless of their location, disability or injuries.
B. Occupational Therapy
Kirsty has worked as an Occupational Therapist and Case Manager within Central West NSW since graduating from Sydney University in 2004.
Kirsty has predominately worked in Vocational Rehabilitation, Injury Prevention and Management in both the public and private sectors which has involved case management of participants through Workers Compensation, Department of Human Services and CTP.
Kirsty is an experienced clinician and has extensive experience in undertaking a range of assessments including Home and Activities of Daily Living, Worksite, Pre – Employment Screenings, Ergonomic and Functional Assessments.
Kirsty has also been involved in undertaking and coordinating Job Capacity Assessments, Wage Assessments and Transition to Retirement Services to employees of Australian Disability Enterprises.
Kirsty is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and a Registered Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is also an approved Case Manager through the Lifetime Care and Support Authority.
